Hello Friends,
Today let's understand what frustration feels like, how to recognise it, and get over it fast.
First check if you find yourself feeling upset, because you have not been able to achieve your goal, or to bring about a change in something. Second, notice if you communicate with a certain amount of aggression which is similar to anger, but directed towards yourself, for eg: you may say/feel things like "Nothing works", "Nobody Cares", or "It is no use trying" these are all signs that frustration may be setting in.
So, how does this feeling emerge?

So, how does this feeling emerge?
Well lets see..
According to me, irritability, ignored time and again, leads to frustration. Frustration is the feeling of being useless. This feeling of aggression is directed towards self. There is a feeling of being less than others or a incompetent person. It comes from trying really hard for a long time, to achieve the desired goal, but despite consistent sincere efforts, you still find yourself facing a dead end. No matter what you try all you face is a dead end. After several tries you may start getting frustrated and blame yourself for the failures. May be rightfully so sometimes, however beating yourself over it would prove destructive.
So how do you handle frustration you face in your day to day life?:
Here are a few quick steps you can take:
1. Believe in yourself- know that you have the capacity to work sincerely and this will pay off in time.
2. Challenges are to be dealt with and not be afraid of.
3. Anything that is worth having must be earned.
4. Try a different approach to solving the issue that is frustrating you.
5. Be clear about your priorities, and you will find the answer that will give you a reasonable solution.
6. Read autobiographies of great people who have scaled great heights, and the struggles in their lives and how they overcame those situations.
These are some of the ways, you could change your feelings from paralysing frustration, to looking at the situation with a fresh view point.

Hope these tips given above will help you deal with Frustration. If this feeling is ignored over a period of time it will lead to Anger. That is my next post...see you then!
